@David L will slap me for drinking this, but I’ve always loved the presentation of this chard. It’s big and burly, and somewhat overoaked, but it packs a punch in terms of its weight and viscosity. Loads of almonds and grapefruit on the palate, with a hint of gooseberries. For the vintage, this is still in excellent shape, and has many years ahead of it.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Some nice acid and interesting minerality. Just way too much oak/alc.

A bit bitter and disjointed. Maybe isolated to this bottle. Breathed over a few days and the same.
