Mass-produced California Chardonnay this is not. Appreciably more complexity. Minerality balanced with ripe yellow apple and ripe papaya (mmmm, papaya!) with just the right touch of oak. — 8 years ago
Vino de la Tierra de Castilla Red Wine 2012: Red fruit, stone fruit, more red fruit - just lots of fruit. But with some old world dustiness to make it a tasty daily drinker. (Note: this is not the Tempranillo it tagged but the red blend.) — 8 years ago
Will revisit this momentarily because it needs to breathe... A lot... — 8 years ago
Ridiculously quaffable cherry juice. — 8 years ago
Without much reference point as my first Cru Beaujolais this is pretty much raspberries muddled in powdered stone. Wishing I had more olives to eat with it because those two would be good friends. Good thing I have some Delice de Bourgogne because hell yes. — 8 years ago

Ten year old Bordeaux that (I think) is right in its sweet spot for age. All kinds of dusty gravel in a way that makes me think of Rutherford (though this is 75% merlot, 25% cab). — 8 years ago
Fresh cherries, dried cranberries, and a glassful of delicious. — 8 years ago
Thank god it tastes better than it smells because I don't want to taste musty horse stall. But it does taste good, so at least it's got that going for it. Which is nice. — 8 years ago

Silky smooth, everything I like about cab and Malbec in one place, though not as dusty usually go for. — 8 years ago
