A blend of 97% Cab Sauv, rest Merlot & Petit Verdot. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, herbs and licorice. On the palate black cherry, raspberry and blackberry flavors with espresso, mocha, oak and earthy notes. Well balanced, great mouthfeel, medium acidity, fine ripe silky tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cedar and toasty spice! Nice! Will age well for another decade!

Deep ruby/purple in color with a nose of blackberries, dry cassis, creamed coffee, clay dust, with a hint of leather. Heavy hitting wine with plenty of fruit and a fair amount of acidity. Fairly bitter at this point with heavy tannins. Could use some cellar age.

Took 4 hours to open. Had an interesting smokiness to it.

Almost black in the glass. Cherry and cranberry nose. Dusty red plum, anise and a bit smokey. Very dry. Nice!
