Nice merlot - forget about Beringer's 1980s association with white Zinfandel - they make great wines. Always have, always will.

Very dark - ink - right to the edge where it turns a light ruby with an extremely thin line of gold. Blackberry and other dark fruit notes are heavy in the front, with an extremely mild vanilla - and somewhat hot - finish.
