Beringer Vineyards
Luminus Oak Knoll District Chardonnay
Clear medium lemon color. Aromas of stone and citrus fruits with gentle spice notes. The palate shows apple, Orange and lemon flavors layered with a mineral earthy nutty undertone. Very lively acid shows up on the finish, about medium, with a surprisingly smooth ending. Very nice!!

Nov 10th, 2019Gorgeous, supple and elegant. Pears and dry apricot. Just utterly delicious. A great wine by the glass from Porto, a snazzy new seafood restaurant in Boston.

Jul 14th, 2018Setting aside the fact that this another very confusing stretch of an iconic brand... A great wine. In line w private reserve and some of the old sbragias. Hints of white rhone (recall in The movie Somm when the guy mistakes BPR Chardonnay for a white rhone). Very very lactic, ripe CA Chardonnay wouldn't confuse this w a burgundy.
