Had this at Capitale Grill, and it showed better then than now. Still enjoyable, but it chased the Morgado - dumb on my part. Above cellar temp, its showing a little more personality. At the right price, it’s a buy to try.

v15. Very good. Roasted coffee and candied cherry nose. Rich black currant and cassis fruit. Velvety smooth, round, chocolate finish.

Beringer KVR seems to get better with age. This is the third bottle in a 2014 - 2016 vertical. Same notes - black fruit, cassis, tobacco and graphite. The flavors evolve more as the wine ages. 2015 vintage on Mar 14, 2020
