Had this at Capitale Grill, and it showed better then than now. Still enjoyable, but it chased the Morgado - dumb on my part. Above cellar temp, its showing a little more personality. At the right price, it’s a buy to try.

Apr 11th, 2021Beringer KVR seems to get better with age. This is the third bottle in a 2014 - 2016 vertical. Same notes - black fruit, cassis, tobacco and graphite. The flavors evolve more as the wine ages. 2015 vintage on Mar 14, 2020
