Founders' Estate California Merlot

Ruby color, blackberry and plums, oak and spice. A great Q.P.R. wine ($10) Its full bodied, slightly sweet, yet has a nice dry finish. Its slightly acidic, but in a good way. This wine pairs well with tonights grilled steaks & garlic mashed potatoes. Beringer Vinyards, Napa California. 13.8% ABV. Have a great Valentines day tomorrow 💘

Store had this on sale for $6.99 + a coupon for $4.00! Had no idea what to expect as I had never tried Beringer before. I was delightfully surprised. It was a solid, drinkable wine that paired well with a vegetarian dinner. Now, I need to run back to the store!! This will be a nice wine to have on hand. 2017 vintage.
