Last score of 92 given a little over 3 years ago. This wine has definitely improved with time in the bottle since then but I dare say that it really (for me) isn't necessarily true to the variety. I initially rated this a 95 but settled on 94. My drink dates (2015-2026) which vary quite a bit from CT's are right on the money. This one was served pop and pour although the best of this wine was probably about 2 hours after cork pop. This one is at the top of the hill right now. Black and blue sweet youthful roasted fruit nose and palate with wildflowers. Great acidity on the entry and the finish. Toasted tannin. This is probably a top 5 Cab Franc for me. I've managed to save a lot of 2012's, and I think that if they all are going to drink similar to this I need to start crackin' em!! Drink or hold another 5-7 years.

Jan 25th, 2020Consumed 10/2015. I only received it in March, so probably should have waited a little bit longer to drink it, but still liked it.
