Bake fruit pie on the nose. Medium lean dark & red fruits; blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, dark raspberries, cherries, raspberry cola, cooked strawberries, red roses, faint spice, light dry soil, soft minerality, big acidity and dry structured tannin finish. Silice French for Silica The soil from the vineyard where this fruit is produced.

October 18, 2023. Purchased at the vineyard July 2021 — a very special tasting experience! Enjoyed with dinner — wild Alaska sockeye salmon and potatoes al gratin. Jun 30th, 2017I've missed you, Oregon! Tasting beautifully for a 2014. Extremely well balanced with deep cherry on the nose, bright acidity and long lasting finish. Will only get better with time...I just couldn't wait!
