Just a glass, but it was stunning. On the nose, notes of red fruits, peaches, flowers, chalk, herbs, spices, and light smokiness. Super saline and energetic on the palate, with a nice citric drive. Just so tasty. Wish there was more, but I was late to the party and that was all that was left for me. I guess I should be grateful. If anything, it firmly confirms my love for this cuvée - definitely one of my favourite rosés in Champagne.

Super high acidity - slight oxidized character but then toasted bread and amazing cherry character out of a magnum

The view made up for the terrible flutes. The wine needed no help either way. Theres a lovely balance between the bright red fruit and the vinous oxidative notes, without becoming too big or too reliant on toasty autolytic notes. The setting helped, but it's hard not to just enjoy this bottle on a purely hedonistic level. Cheers!
