Moscato d'Asti

I was surprised to learn that Italians don’t drink #moscato as an aperitif (which I love) but rather always as dessert. This Bara is the best and the producing father and son are the nicest people too. #moscatodasti #asti #piemonte

Smells like all of the great musky things about the dirt floor basement cellar of my childhood home. Tastes like peaches preserved in sweet Riesling. Nice medium effervescence. I would finish every meal with this.
