Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Bright ripe red fruits on the nose. Tannins out of balance. High acid slightly juicy. Bitey. Don’t love the mouth feel. Coats too heavy

Deep and very dark Pinot Noir, rich and bold-styled, a bit on the oaky side. Dark cherry, some red flowers and a hint of licorice on the mid range of the palate. Lingers quite a bit on the finish. Ok as a sipper!

Midium bodied but a bit more so than most Pinots, earthy notes with more structure.

Good - but would probably benefit from aging

Pleasant fruity accompaniment ($22) to a dinner of pork with grapes and tarragon.

Really nice bottle with view of the Pacific. More kid volleyball (California this time).

Nice wine. Had this at Shinsei and really enjoyed. Nice value. Very rich. Offers some complexity. Medium body. Nice fruit, but not too much.
