2016 vintage. Racy and spicy blue fruits with a solid supporting structure and an outstanding finish. A really unique and special wine.

Expansive nose of deep berries and pepper that evokes Syrah but the palate is big rich Pinot. One of the biggest and most concentrated Pinots I’ve ever tasted. Really delicious and coating but personally not what I’m looking for in Pinot Noir. Some palates would give this style 9.5+ but while it’s not mine I still give it 9.1 because it’s so expansive and harmonious and does it all at less alcohol than you’d think with such concentration.
