Benom Wines
Origin Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasted blind. Guessed Happy Canyon Cab. Actually quite elegant wine. Alcohol at 14.8 which is low for Paso lolz. Just a pleasing freshness and vibrancy without any oak butting in the convo like a know it all with nothing to say. The wine opens with fantastic energy.

Oct 4th, 2020Dark Ruby. A wonderful discovery in Paso. A euro flair designed into this beautiful cab. A head tuner. I believe this wine will give Napa a run for its money.

Jan 25th, 2023Nose of smoky red fruit, roasted herbs. Tightly wound acid and grippy tannins show the youth, while framing and lifting concentrated fruit. Interesting and well made, but not my jam, at least not yet.

Mar 4th, 2019Bar none, the best 100% Cabernet I’ve had the opportunity to taste out of the Central Valley. The power and fruitiness that Paso Robles is known for, but with a European influence that softens the fruit and gives exceptional mouthfeel. This is absolutely a 10 in my book, like nothing I’ve ever had in Paso Robles, a small boutique winery that will make huge inroads into the mainstream very soon. If you haven’t heard of Benom, don’t worry, you will.....a fantastic effort from Arnaud and Guillaume Fabre. This winery will set a new bar in this region.
