Part 1 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.
I was saddened to see this because it reminded me how dumb I was not to purchase more of these when I could. One of the best Chardonnays I’ve had this year. Very tropical and citrus like up front with lemon cream aromatics. Smoked marzipan, honeyed cashews and a decadent finish. Acidity is bright and sharp which I throughly enjoy. Thanks for busting this out, @Shawn R !

14' Fait - Main Chardonnay. The balance between acidity, oak, & fruit is close to flawless. Yet another Chardonnay that needed time in the bottle. Not drinking nearly this well a year ago.
