Vin de Pays d'Oc Dry Viognier

Dry and interesting. Cotes de Thau region. Mari described it well that it’s weirdly hot on the palate.

The driest Viognier I have ever tasted, this wine has a hint of pear with a grassy body, and Winter melon in the finish.

Felt very dry and light and a little tasteless and uninteresting

The nose has notes if grapefruit and flowers. This is the dryest Viognier I have ever tasted. This wine tastes more like a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. It is tasty, but not what I expected.

Fruity on both the nose and the palette. Soft citrus flavours. Beautiful!

Flavours of hay. Slight oak and savoury tones. Fresh summer herbs.

2017 vintage. Drank on mid Nov 2018.
Straw yellow, hints of green. Melon and grass on the nose. Summer fruits, grass and violets, with long aftertaste.

Consistent tasting notes compared to the 2015. Tangerine, apples, apricot, beeswax, honeysuckle, and rose water. Acidity stays relevant within its medium plus body. Viognier can be so versatile.
