Monterrei is the warmest and driest area in Galicia, very small DO lying next to Portugal border. Godello is one of the most popular white grapes used in this DO.
Quince in nose and mouth, not intensive aromas, medium acidity, mineral not very fruity quite soft. Like quince it dries out mouth similar to tannic reds. Feels balanced and crispy, I would pair it with some grilled chicken but also delicate not fat fish like grilled sea bass
