Had tonight with sausage, peppers and onions with a saffron risotto. Paired well. Dry tannins with a a little heat on the end but not unpleasant with the meal. Some hints of plum and raspberry but the tannins come in strong to make those flavors fade a bit. Would not drink this one without food but I would actually drink this one again.
