Very dark and dense ruby red. Sweet aromas of raspberry jam and cassis. Deep dark flavors upon entrance; black currant, blackberry, cocoa, and expresso coffee. Acidity comes through right at the end, providing a very long finish. Not much complexity, but great grip of sweet tannins and pleasant structure. 88 pts.
