La Tour de Curon Le Clos Côtes du Jura Chardonnay

Well made, probably, but just not my style. Quite oxidized. Amber in the glass. Hadn’t had a Jura chardonnay in a while and this is a good reminder why.

Mind blowing Chardonnay. Best I've had in a while.

2009 vintage. Improved somewhat since I had this same wine about 7 months ago. Wonderful nose - mineral, almond / nutty oxidative style. Grand CRU style wine. Ripe citrus fruit. On the palate, high acidity, medium body, huge concentration and long finish. Truly excellent. Bravo.

2009 vintage. Crush almond. Apple and citrus and the usual slight sherried nose. Really good length. Wonderful wine.

'09 vintage. Just lovely. Everyone loves this wine who tries it. But don't tell anyone or it will become impossible to find!
