Crazy, nutty, so much acidity... Baby Vin Jaune.

Really enjoyed this last night at the Regency Bar & Grill.

Awesome. Savagnin sous voile (gently oxidised under a yeast veil) is the world’s most distinctive wine (barring sherry). Gr8 value too.

Start of the evening. Delicious. Loved this.

My WOTN. Straw, dried grass and brilliant acidity. So pleasant and intriguing.

The wine had a shocking gravely almost musky flavor. It opened some after 15 minutes and when well with some fish dishes we ate, but I'm still on the fence about the wine. The day after, I drank it while eating some leftover curry - warning! Do not drink with spicy food. It took on a plastic-taste next to the spice and I had to push it away.

Oxidation, sous voile, Jura. Always a favorite
