Scopello Sicilia Frappato

Great Italian red. Wild berries, handfuls of herbs, and a few cracks of pepper. It has a solid structure, and a ton of character.

This wine is eating berries from my mothers garden while barefoot on the gravel driveway (ouch) after a summer rain aka: my teenage years. This wine gives me the Sofia Coppola feels...in the best, hazy summer way. #fuckyeahfrappato

Bright red light wine

Distinctive from the few other standout Frappato.

Love this wine. Bright and lively with good acidity, fruit and minerality.

Bright raspberry fruit, zippy and bready and stony with subtle grip on the finish. Refreshing and friendly, with a little depth.

Wow! Like being back in Scopello with all the swedes and Italians lazy laying on the rocks

First time trying this grape. Need more time with it. Given how much I like light reds like Trousseau, I was surprised to not be excited about this. Felt a bit boring. Maybe my mood? Will try again.

As pleasant and crowded as Scopello beach, hints of the rarified air right above and a proce sticker to leave your car by the side of the road.

Strawberries, light, fresh herbs. Great!
