Deep Ruby with aromas of with berry fruit and earthy notes. On the palate ripe blackberry flavors with floral notes. Tannins are rustic, big and firm, medium finish ending with earthy character. Drink now, no aging benefit. Just ok, better ones out there.

Normally only drink Chianti “when in Rome,” but it does pair well with a few non-Italian dishes with vegetables.

I have a weakness for a nice Chianti (heh), and this one delivers. Ripe plum and bright cherries on the nose with a little that Chianti-esque iodine and leather. All of the above on the palate with some nice wet slate. Good acid, not as dry as I expected. Might not stand up to the grilled steaks, but enh — no regrets.

Not bad. Stood up to a few days of being open. That was good.

Smooth and light bodied, it's pairing well with an Italian sausage minestrone soup

Great basic chianti--dominated by red plum flavor and bright acidity at the end, but some fine tannins and just a little minerality make it interesting.
