Like a Bordeaux in terms of complexity and presence. Great French oak taste on the finish. Bright fresh crushed stone fruits. High altitude! Woman winemaker- Elizabeth Bordin.

Old vine malbec - smoky and oaky notes help to balance the sweet overripe-ness, but the wine is still somewhat one dimensional. Still a nice surprise on the first try though.
