Good but not great - allows for a Sunday smile on a Sunday late afternoon - or maybe "grooving on a Sunday afternoon - just like song from the rascals

Really enjoying this. Typical Beherens and Hitchcock presentation. Big, bold and somewhat brash. But they carry it off very well. Metaphorically, this certainly is a change up from Lafite! A great showing from a lousy vintage.

A nice cab/Syrah (75/25) blend. Cedar, blueberry and brown sugar on the nose. Blue fruits and spice on the palate with a nice balance of fruit/savory. The tannins are strong so decanting is key.

Deep fruit-driven and jammy, intense with good structure and a nice finish.

Big, gritty mountain fruit. Coffee grounds, blue and black fruits. Not very dynamic but a pleaser.

Good fruit forward blend. Drinking the 2012 - a little young but opens up nicely.
