Grown ups Cabernet; great nose with blackcurrant, baking spices, lavender and vanilla. Violet colouring, dark but with a lighter rim. Taste is blackcurrant, dark fruits, espresso and spice, tannins are present but not too drying. Fruit is well layered but not overly sweet or extracted so I think this will develop for a few years yet. Plenty to enjoy here and some future potential for the patient ones.

A powerful wine. Still a little too early to drink (not that I didn’t enjoy it), but a lot of potential. Cola and blackberries predominate.

This is a great cab Sauv. Could have used some decanting but was still delicious. Big and chewy, the wine shows black fruits and baking spices. It evolved greatly in the glass over time. Very nice.
