Teldeschi Ranch Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel
Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California, USA
This is the Heritage Zinfandel blend. Nose has deep Zin blackberry fruit, lots of dry crumbly sun-warmed gravel too. On the palate, it’s so balanced. Deep flavors. Remarkable acids for a fairly full-framed Zin. Some tannin too, a fair amount. This will age well for a Zin, but is so nice now.

Still pretty closed aromatics, I can sense the Petite Sirah in this wine, which has shut it down mostly, on potential, I’m guessing this will someday merit 9.2 or 9.3, but it might need 8-10 more years in the cellar to get there.

Aug 29th, 2026Big structure and tannic backbone, not much Dry Creek redfruits currently showing, but Petite Sirah supplies big tannins, needs 5+ years of cellaring to soften, has good potential! Current release.
