Opaque violet color and intensely aromatic with black and blue fruit, incense, floral, smoke and spice aromas. On the palate it's between medium and full-bodied, and focused with a supple mouthfeel and opulent black cherry, blackberry, blueberry compote, sweet and peppery spice flavors and an appealing nuanced minerality; all nicely balanced with bright acidity and polished velvety tannins. Long finish.
14.8% abv; 300 cases produced. Aged in 30% new French oak. 2012 vintage
