This Long Island white wine does not smell/taste like a traditional Viognier. (No floral nose for example). That being said, this is still a pretty good wine.
Apple, apricot and peach aromas and flavors with a hint of limestone. Great acidity. Not what I expected, but....

Bright, fresh, fruity nose with notes of green apple, citrus and a touch of mint. Crisp and fresh on the palate. Juicy, taught citrus flavors lead to bright acidity and a dry stoniess. The finish is long, crisp and slightly tart.
