Tremendously oaky but it had its charm. Concentration and quality of tannin was great, silky feeling. An era of NY winemaking that I think has come and gone.

New French Oak + LI Bordeaux blend + $125 retail. Not my favorite combination.

I thought this was fantastic, but maybe I was influenced by the price tag.

Lots of structure and texture with bright fruit and bitter chocolate notes. 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Syrah. Recent blog post inspired by visit at Bedell www.damewine.com

Best wine from Bedell. Thought it was over priced for what we got.
