This Texas Merlot is silky smooth, with dark cherry and mocha flavors. It has a medium body and a complex cassis finish. I was impressed by how much it opened up with decanting. This was a cheap wine, only about $10, but it outperformed most of the more expensive Texas wines which I sampled.

A little down on alchohol content. Dark ruby colors. A hint on something buttery, like caramel. Very nice & easy to drink.
