Frankstein Alsace Grand Cru AOC Riesling

Apple, lemon, wet stone. Racy, vibrant acidity and tons of mineral on the palate. Unfiltered.

Pale gold. Smoke (and petrol), honey, clove, anise, yellow ripe peach, ripe pear, canned apricot, yellow apple, honeysuckle, and toast. Hints of pineapple and cheese rind. High acidity and minerality. Medium intensity, medium+ finish.

Very precise. Petrol notes are starting to push forward. Very interesting spice character with white flowers and ginger on the bouquet.

Excellent, affordable, organically grown fruit, native yeasts, minimal sulfite added... and that overused word "minerality" actually fits perfectly well here.

Mineralwesome.

Front & mid not so back palate lingering like Alsace so often is. Zippy lemon acid deliciousness

Amazing. Floral and round but sharp and buzzy on the attack. Really beautiful and pleasurable.
