Popped and poured; no formal notes. This 2005 Beaulieu Vineyard “Georges De Latour” was enjoyed alongside a 2001 St. Supery “Dollarhide” and a 2006 Chappellet “Pritchard Hill” Cabernet Sauvignon. All three were well stored examples from the same cellar. The 2005 GdL is a lovely, vinous wine. Predominately black and red fruits with some hints of bell pepper, cigar box, earth and baking spices. The structure has done a great job of keeping things together here and the wine shows great balance. Drinking well right now but likely to have what it takes to last another 5-10.
