Beaulieu Vineyard
Coastal Estates California Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark ruby in color with medium intensity and a red / ruby rim.
Fruity on the nose with cherries, strawberries, vanilla, red currants, toasted oak, flowers, Earth, metals and white pepper.
Medium bodied with great legs and medium plus acidity.
Tart fruits on the palate with blackberries, plums, red currants, cherries, vanilla, licorice, dirt and black pepper.
Medium + in length on the finish with tart cherries, soft tannins and peppercorn.
This is a Surprisingly good Cabernet. Entry level for this winery, a little unbalanced but more than drinkable. Good by itself or with food, I paired it with hard cheeses.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Pleasantly impressed by this one. A sweetness to it, but it makes for a great easy drink with or without food. Cherry and fresh red fruit.
