Decanted for two hours. Flavors of red currants and raspberry twizzlers. Cocoa and herbal tea notes make an appearance as well. A late release nearly 10 years old that has at least another decade of evolution. Bravo!

Ok. This is good. Nothing to die for, but good. Imagine Cabernet Sauvignon, cut with exactly 50% Chianti. Full bodied, dark cherry, and acidic. UPDATE: this wine has evolved considerably after 24 hours. As a result, I'm moving rating up to a 9.2 from a 9.0. I would buy it again.

Second time I've had this baby and it is great every time. Lots of funky earth and fresh berry notes with a heavy mouthfeel and mouth coating tannin. Love it.
