Beautifully balance concentrated Napa from the Alta vista area above Stags Leap. I get the gravel but it’s not as strong as I’d suspect. A masterful selection and blend. I had it with lamb chops in a wine garlic butter reduction with roasted red potatoes and green beans... fantastic.... but I suspect it could bottle age for a few more years to reveal the complexity buried in the tannic structure
