Apr 5th, 2020Date night with Anne-Marie. We were introduced to this wine by @Martin G Rivard. So consistent, and in our opinion, under the radar. Lovely poise and balance, with restrained power. Loving this and my wife tonight.

On the nose; ripe, ruby, blackberries, plum, black raspberries, dark cherries, cherries, dusty soils, light baking spices, steeped fruit tea, black cherry cola and fresh dark florals. The body is and full. The tannins well rounded by very dusty. The fruits are; ripe, ruby, blackberries, plum, black raspberries, dark cherries, cherries, baked strawberries, dusty soils, crushed dry rocks, grey volcanic minerals, light baking spices, steeped fruit tea, black cherry cola and fresh dark florals.

Beautiful, pristine nose of vanilla, and cherry compote.
Ripe expression of extracted fruits, and deft oak treatment on the palette. Tannins are wonderful, helping to create a plush texture and mouthfeel. The juice has evolved to a much better place with aeration. Finishes sweet and extravagant. At 15.9%, this is a glorious monster.

Re taste those beau vigne wines blind next time or while sober,🚼 definitely would buy again, just doesn't have that smooth, thick & viscousness of the Cult or Guest cottage,

Popped and poured. A HUGE value in Napa.from their 100 point Reserve to their everyday drinker. Opened after 2 big reds and it drank better than 1 of them......p.s insignia 🍷😜🍷
