Doesn’t posses the same personality as the 14 vintage. Falls a touch short on weight, but don’t get me wrong - still great.

Keste pizza at home. Drove deep into the mouth of the beast (Manhattan) to get this. Reminded me of the film “Dawn of the Living Dead” when we drove through Meatpacking district.
We’ll get thru this, I’m sure of that. Pizza is 99 pts.
This bottle was an outlier, relative to what we normally experience from this producer.

@Paul T- Huntington Beach Thank you my friend. composed of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak. Deep garnet-purple colored, it prances out of the glass with carefree plum preserves, blackcurrant pastilles and dried mulberries scents plus nuances of candied violets, tobacco leaf, wild sage and charcuterie with a waft of tapenade. The full-bodied palate is chock-full of savory layers, supported by firm, ripe, grainy tannins and a refreshing line, finishing with lingering earthy sparks.

A beast of beasts. Paired well with the steak Fred Flintstone put on top of his car back in the day.

The Cult’s cousin that’s hooked on Meth. Massive fruit jam bomb balanced by spice and tannin. This will be a rock star in a few years when everything dials back a bit. Photos of: an Iberico rave and the best steak description (tonight’s dinner) I’ve ever read.
