My niece served this at her wedding reception over the weekend, and gave me this leftover bottle. (In the mountains in Colorado, a moose strolled through the parking lot, etc.) This is the kind of wine you serve to please a big group of people. A little dark fruit, a fair amount of oak influence which shows up as vanilla and leather. I was the DJ for her reception, and I had purple teeth 👍

Very young. Opened an hour before consuming. Seemed balanced, not overwhelming tannin or alcohol. But right now the wine is a bit linear although the fruit is apparent. At this point, leave it in the cellar 3-4 years & try again.
