A memorably bad wine! Tar and petrochemicals on the nose. Nasty sour fruit on the front. Chlorophyll notes on the middle palate. The finish is pleasant though. Cool menthol tannins cleanse the palate of the abuse it received on front of the tongue. Unfortunately it has a long finish and the sour fruit reasserts itself after you swallow. YUK!

Will not let me edit this to 'best of vintage' continously labelling this as 'puritan' but best of vintage - definitetly of a lot bigger than the rest of the range, no question about that. Blackberries, blackcurrants, black cherries and oak.
