Vini Orsone Refosco

Under appreciated (outside Friuli) this varietal makes gorgeous wines: med bodied & very expressive/complex showing blue/black ripe fruit accented w/white pepper, fig paste, licorice & hint of camphor. Later some prune & plum. Very suave tannins and after some volatile acidity, it smoothed out after an hour or so. Solid rendition

Easy drinking. Relatively light and pleasantly acidic. Really solid for the price. Immediately bought another bottle.

Creamy texture , good acidity, medium body, lots of minerality and a noted salinity. A nice change

Classic Italian red. Sharp and tangy, but paired well with pizza and eggplant parm. Hints of cherry, a bit of anise/spice, and a touch of earth. A bit too acidic for me, but solid.

Mango. 1 cube of ice.

So smooth so balanced ✨

Nice minerality, not totally dry in a good way, with notes of pineapple and honey, went fast with broiled branzino and fritto misto.

Full-flavored, medium dry, with a slightly bitter aftertaste
