Sipping Fine Wine

An off-dry wine on the sweet side, with tropical fruit aromas. On the palate apple and peach, vivid acidity yet with an underlying creaminess. Medium finish that screams for some spicy foods. Good but not my style.

It’s been a while since I had anything B&G. I remember B&G was one of the wine Dryfuss was drinking in the movie JAWS!! An off-dry wine on the sweet side, with tropical fruit aromas. On the palate apple and peach, vivid acidity yet with an underlying creaminess. Medium finish that screams for some spicy foods. Good but not my style.

This has some sweetness to it but it went really well with the spicy dinner we had recently. It was light and crisp.

Semi-dry with notes of peach and pear. Pairs well with leftover Thanksgiving cassoulet.

Nice for the $11 price range. Nice floral note with honey finish. The finish is nicer after you let it linger for a minute or two. This will be nice on the patio this summer.

Way out of wack. First the acidity hits, then this weird sweetness. Not a fan.

Citrus and honeysuckle. This Chenin Blanc is a perfect complement to homemade spicy Pad Thai.
