On the palate flavors of sweet black cherry and currants with tobacco and earthy floral tones. Fine ripe tannins, vivid acidity, well balanced, long finish ending with earthy mineral character, nice mouthfeel. Small production. Drinking well now and, will age well!

This is a lovely wine beginning to come into its own after a few years in the bottle. Very mineral driven, there is classic violet, sour cherry, leather and beautiful balsamic notes of cedar. Lots of dark blackberry, raspberry, forest floor, mushroom and leather with velvet tannins and a lovely closing note of baking spice like clove on the long finish. Exceptional balance, a lovely wine.
