Dark garnet in color with a thin browning rim. Nose was a potpourri of dried roses, burnt orange peal and forest floor. Slightly muted black fruits dominated the core. Plum and blackberries with dried mushrooms, dusty earth rounded out with black pepper and chocolate on the finish. Nice wine that matured beautifully.

This wine has stood the test of time. Pleasant aromas and flavors of dried dark fruits with a hint of poblano pepper. (Not unappealing). A touch of dried flowers on the nose. Garnet color with a hint of brown around the rim. Smooth tannins and an excellent compliment to food. Thanks Ron!
