Banshee Wines was founded by three friends Noah Dorrance, Baron Ziegler, and Steve Graf who shared a passion for wine and a lifelong dream of owning their own winery. Their first vintage of Pinot Noir, produced in 2009 was sold out in 3 months. Deep color with red berry fruit aromas and notes of sweet floral scents. On the palate red plum and cherry flavors with layers of spice. Smooth tannins balanced well with acidity, lingering ending with a citrus mineral character. Nice value. Tasting Sample.

Nov 14th, 20172015 vintage. Has a slight yeast/funky/cheesy thing going on that doesn't do much for me. Otherwise...cranberry, tart cherry, pink flowers, lots of chalk. Even witnessing a little effervescence going on with the cork in the bottle, so maybe a little stay bacteria in action. Nothing overly offensive though...just think that this may be a tiny bit off.
