This finally came together. This blend of Cab S, Merlot, San Giovese and Syrah is in a great spot.
Nose filled with sweet red fruit, ripe cherries and almond paste. The tanins are soft and the mouthfeel silky. Nice herb touch too. Paired with spaghetti with tomatoes/ preserved lemon/ honey/ cream sauce and that matched very very well.

I recall from drinking this two years ago in a restaurant being completely wowed by this wine. So bought a case but the first (a year ago) and this one are okay but have an overpowering acidity that takes away a lot of the joy.

Dry, but not heavy tannins. Delicious with complex tobacco and shoe leather notes.
