Enjoyable prosaic #cabernet #merlot (55% / 45%) blend. Cassis, black/purple fruit pretty prominent on the nose, some earthy notes as it opens up. Good acidity on palate, nice concentration of rich fruit from the merlot with earth and tannins from the cab - pretty good QPR on this one.

It has a lovely deep red colour and a velvety appearance. The nose displays very intense aromas of dark chocolate, cherries and blackcurrants. This wine is rich, round with mature tannins. This is a very complex and elegant wine. It is best enjoyed with stews, steaks, duck or cheese. Best served around 65F.
