A bit of a disappointment for a. I bought a couple bottles and My impression after opening the second one is the same as it was for the first. As a Rosso de Montalcino, I would have expected it to be more full-bodied, taking more advantage of the Sangiovese varietal. This just wasn’t to be. Banfi makes a vastly superior Rosso de Montalcino in my opinion.

So good, great value. Pnp. Like a baby brunello. Smooth easy drinking but complex enough especially great is the price at $17

Not too deep. It softened a little, but it remained a bit on the sour side, which followed into the tannins. Probably wouldn't rebuy this.

This doesn't quite coincide with my previous rating of this wine. It's probably somewhere in between.

From last night. Eucalyptus, damp basement. Darn good sangiovese grapes.
