Drank over 2 nights 4/8/19-4/10/19.

This wine is generally decent from vintage to vintage, but '15 seems a bit better as far as many Tuscan wines go. At $20, you could do better, but in sale for $15, its priced right where it should be.

Nose of red cherry and some earthy, leathery notes as well. Red cherry flavors mix with leather and tar on the medium bodied palate. Medium tannins add structure.

Of note, this was significantly better from an old world syrah/sangiovese stem, than a Bordeaux stem.

3/22/7/4/4 + 50 =90 Pts.

Dusty, funky barnyard. Smells like The Big E. Great length on the palate.

A multifaceted triumph! Tang up front, astringency along about the middle, hints of subtle white fruits at the close. Deep purple hue; acidic aroma. A winner all around.

Great with Bleu Cheese, not with Brie for some reason.

Dry afterward. Tannins present throughout. Tart, dry, savory. Good wine, for after a meaty dish and awesome with bold red sauce dishes.

Dry and beautiful. I got pomegranate and anise. Outside of what I usually drink, but would like it again.
