Second bottle of my ‘13s. This bottle much better than the first. Loaded with ripe blueberry and black raspberry. Great structure, minerality, plush silky mouthfeel. Nice long finish. In its prime.

Feb 20th, 2024Lovely nose right at the bottle open. Surprisingly, it was at its best about 1.5 hour after open. Ripe fruit but far from dominant. Acidity is high, tannins soft but with a bite. Drinking well with nice finish. Dark fruit, blue and black, strong minerality. Honestly, I had high expectations because I love Dr Crane, this was great but didn’t quite meet them. Still, really good.

2013 vintage. Sumptuous body. Richness without overt fruitiness. Restrained tannins. All finesse. Nothing brutish to be found here. Balanced and harmonious. Drinking great currently.

This is an amazing glass of wine. Aromas of dark rich fruit is a hint of what is to come. This was decanted for hour. The lush blueberry, blackberries and touches of cassis, tobacco leaf and to me a hint of leather all could be found. This finished so nicely. This wine is a panty dropper for sure.

Nov 5th, 20172009 vintage. Black olive & leather in the nose. A dry bad boy. Light/medium body but concentrated. Finish dissipates a little too quickly but still delicious.
